Experts line up to help SMEs boost export sales

A series of special ‘An Audience With…’ webinars to help small and medium-sized businesses across the Marches boost their export sales are to be staged by experts from The Department for International Trade.

The free webinars will showcase a range of global e-marketplaces and will provide guidance and practical advice on how SMEs can succeed in new markets and offer vital insight about how much it costs, logistics, marketing support and how to join.

There will also be an opportunity for Q&As so businesses leaders can put questions directly to the experts.

The series starts on August 18 at 10am with An Audience With… SimplyVAT

Although SimplyVAT are not an e-marketplace, when selling online overseas it is so important to ensure you understand the VAT rules for each market.

In this webinar Alex Wyatt, Global Project Manager, will help you to understand:

  • When you need to register for VAT
  • Which countries you need to register in as well as potential additional filings
  • How to prepare your business for the end of the UK’s transition period with the EU

The second event at 10am on August 25 is An Audience With… real.de

Next up is An Audience With… Sift & Pick on September 22 at 9am.
