Businesses are being urged to make the most of a wealth of coronavirus information being provided by workplace experts Acas.

ACASThe national organisation has developed comprehensive help and guidance on its website to help businesses and staff with all aspects of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Acas, which gives employers and employees free, impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice, has developed the site to become a one-stop resource for employers and employees returning to work as lockdown restrictions ease.

Advice and support on its website – www.acas.org.uk/coronavirus – covers coronavirus-related topics such as:

  • Working safely
  • Furlough
  • Working from home
  • Vulnerable people and those at high risk
  • Sick pay for self-isolation
  • Holiday and leave
  • Mental health

Resources online include templates of letters for employees on furlough and advice on redundancy and grievance procedure and information on holidays

Acas also runs regular webinars on key issues like furlough, mental health and managing a fair disciplinary process. To sign up and watch recordings visit acas.org.uk/webinars
