Businesses urged to support ScaleUp Week

Published: May 12th, 2021

Businesses from across the Marches are being urged to support ScaleUp Week – a week-long series of free virtual debates about the crucial issues and opportunities facing growing businesses.

The week – from May 18 to May 20 – will feature a series of speakers from across the UK from a variety of backgrounds including BEIS Ministers and other politicians, business and academia, as well as a live audience Q&A.

Scaleup Week is led by BGF with the ScaleUp Institute and active engagement from the Secretary of State for Business, Energy, Industrial Strategy and the Prime Minister’s Build Back Better Council.

It is targeted at CEOs, founder & scaleup teams alongside the policy makers, business leaders and advisers looking to support scaleup growth.

Speakers include Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng, ScaleUp Institute and BGF leaders and a host of chief executives passing on their tips for business growth.

A spokesman said new speakers were being added daily and the event would provide thought provoking ideas on what’s next for the UK economy, insight into the practical solutions scaleups need to accelerate growth and give those attending a chance to help shape the future of scaleups.
