Amazon and Enterprise Nation launch business bootcamp during Birmingham Tech Week

Published: October 21st, 2020

Enterprise Nation and Amazon have launched applications for the Amazon Bootcamp West Midlands, offering free education to help 100 small firms in the region get their products online.

Launched during Birmingham Tech Week, the two-day bootcamp will give businesses access to practical sessions on how to get online, master social media, sell products on Amazon and achieve scale.

Successful firms will also be able to network online with a group of local founders and access Amazon specific training and advice from a dedicated group of experts and advisers.

Tens of thousands of UK-based small and medium-sized businesses sell their products in Amazon’s stores across the world and Amazon provides practical support and services to help them grow.

More than 60% of UK businesses selling on Amazon export to customers all over the world. In 2019 they achieved total export sales of more than £2.75bn and supported more than 85,000 job opportunities in the UK.

To apply firms must fill in the form by 10 November and successful businesses will be notified by 12 November for the morning sessions on November 17 and 18 between 9 and 12.30pm.
