Based at the E-Innovation Centre at the University of Wolverhampton, the Imagine team is a tight knit group of dedicated IT trainers and multimedia experts led by Training Director, Karen Turner. Imagine trains delegates on a variety of software, including Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel.
Delivering training to thousands of companies across the UK, Karen says that its techniques and dedicated training programmes are helping businesses save hundreds of hours a year by teaching their staff better ways of working.
The business challenge
Trainers often visit companies on site and run sessions using its ‘Classroom in a Box’ concept. But having access to new quality training facilities just yards from its offices, at the e-Innovation Centre at the university, gives Imagine a chance to bring its training concepts to a wider audience. The company is also looking into grant support to help it develop the business.
How the Marches Growth Hub helped
Imagine Training events are now largely based at the hub in Telford and the company has received ongoing practical and promotional assistance from the expert business support team onsite.
There has been a mutual benefit too, with Imagine actively promoting the Marches Growth Hub services, making business referrals to the team and hosting a well received event free of charge during the recent #GetStarted campaign for start-up businesses.
Most recently, the Marches Growth Hub has held one-to-one meetings with Karen to discuss further business support, including initial investigations into what capital funding might be available to support Imagine’s further growth.
